I will want to do a conversion from the slush box in my car to a 5 speed. So I am collecting the parts.

I will need the pedal assembly. I have only seen one on eBay for $295. That seems a little high to me. What should one of those cost these days?

THanks

unfortunately this is something you can only get from a car that is being parted ... and since most people that have slushboxes would like to have a 5 speed, they are hard to come by. if memory serves, the bavaria stuff doesn't fit (i hope i'm wrong). anybody know if you could use e12 pedals?

the question is whether you have to exchange the whole section of the middle of the steering column, or whether you could swap out the pedals. seems like somebody was going to try that - don't remember reading if they were successful or not. a little searching might help you.

I sadly discovered the e12 pedals won't work. They fit in width if trimmed but offset is wrong for clutch pedal. It could work but more efforts involved.

I think

You just need the 2 pedals, they fit in the automatic pedal box. I can't see that they would be too hard to make custom if there is enough demand, but I'm not doing it :)

E12 no good
Bav is good
You just want the pedals - no box

that's great info Don ... Bavaria stuff is a bit more plentiful, so that should enlarge the pool of finding pedals. i would think you could find a set cheaper than 300 bucks (purely a guess). did the guy parting the 3.0si have a stick or auto?
