How to destroy a BMW E9

ay malc???

my parents had a ford cortina in the seventies that was a similar colour combination. Nasty!

The boot trim looks like it might be velour?

Does it seem to anyone else that Euro cars are more prone to nonstandard interior changes ie two tone upholstery, piping, altered dash colors etc... or is it just me?

Chaque on son gouts, baby!

Ford Cortina!
Reminds me of the song by Ian Drury

To me it's what ever rows your boat.... If it's done well then that's ok, but if it's a half ar*ed job then I would walk a mile. That said a light coloured interior looks ok with a black car IMHO

"Modified" E9 in Europe--in poor taste IMO

I do agree with PM as to the tasteless treatment of these great cars--all semblance of their fine detailng turned to Cr@*p by some foolish clod who has that right--but fails to understand that his taste negatively impacts the timeless design efforts of talented designers and engineers of that era--features that would be more admired and remain far more valuable as a classic car.

Just this afternoon I was at my local auto interior shop when my eye caught one of the nicest bright yellow 330GTC Ferraris I have ever seen--completely original with 7,990 miles or Kilometers--not sure which--believe it to be flawless in its originality--anyone molesting or altering the beauty of such a fine car should be hunted down by the "Ferrari Police" to be suitably punished.

I feel similar emotions when I see molestations of what was once a beautiful 3.0 CS--can you imagine the reaction of the interior design guys--if living today that labored to develop our beauties--and to then see what some clod has done--bet your bottom farthing that those Germans would be livid--too!

Well, at least they went all the way and made the interior one shade of beige.... it actually looks quite tidy and well-finished, if hideous to the eyes of most.

I just wonder how the flock they flocked the interior of the trunk to look like that....

doesn't look so bad to me

kind of "modern" not necessarily in a bad way. Not much fond of anthracite paint on a coupe, but if it's nice and shiny, better than mine.

I absolutely plan on destroying my E9, so go ahead and start flaming me now, when mine is toast, your cars will be worth just that much more hahahaha
