Trying to take apart my driver seat to get pad replaced,one of two large screws in side chrome kidney shaped trim piece on side of back section where seat pivots just spins(oddly the second screw on the opposite seat side spins also)Looking in the hole where the "good" screw did come out it appears threads are cut into seats' metal frame.Does the screw go into a "captured" nut?Screws that came out are very rusty.Any suggestions on how to remove screw?Guess I could grind off screw head and pull trim off allowing me to pull back of seat off and see what's going on inside?Ahhh nothing is ever easy when repairing these old coupes!
