Fellow coupers - I had a friend help me with a non starting situation and we did a lot of testing on good ole D-jet, as yet to no avail. However in our haste, we did not number the injectore wires/plugs. As such, the wires seem to "find" the proper injectors but on 4 and 3 they may have been reversed. Is there any way to verify correct wires/plugs to correct injectors ? Also are cylinders numbered from 1 (front) to 6 (back } or is it 6(front ) to 1 (back).

Thanks

You can call me and I can walk you through the wire placements from conduit to injectors.
I have 3 Csi’s at the shop and several harnesses.

If you still have original white wiring, then next to the each connector you will have numbered wires as listed below on diagram.

Dana: wires 27 and 33 connect to injector 3, wires 29 and 34 go to injector 4. HTH.
Bill,
Thanks as always - still working on checking those grounds, etc. The distributor trigger points open and close appropriately, by the ohmmeter test.

SF - I will take you up on that. Many thanks, I am still poring over diagrams and assessing grounds. Injector trigger points seem to open and close by the ohmmeter test. I will exhaustively check wire harness continuity and recheck the noid light test before calling and or asking to borrow and ECU.

Dana- our shop specializes in Csi and Csl D-jetronics.

we know the 3 versions of the engine harness.

we have access to replacement TPS, ecu, trigger points, AAV, MPS and new wiring harnesses.

LMK if we can help.

I think that on a $200,000.00 car it really does matter that the wires are in the right place and order so that future buyers don’t get the idea that some clueless chump has been working on the car.

For the records…
Thanks for the constant flow of helpful D-Jet info. Wladek's diagram and your hand written ones are super-helpful. I'm going old school and printing yours. I'll make sure there are "sfdon" watermarks on the printouts.

And that is one of many reasons my car was priced firmly in the "clueless chump" price range.

Credit where credit is due. Those schematics are done by the best d-jet expert I know. I’m not sharing his name…. The shop paid for his work. Way beyond our capabilities. Thanks for the watermarks!

His beautiful calligraphy alone make the schematics worth every penny, even if a have a carb in mine.

JB sure is one detailed and organized chap for sure. This is likely one of the most valuable pieces of documentation on the forum (for D-jet owners).

Did he ever get the correct injector pulse widths figured out? I recall he needed a stock D-jet car that was running really well. A veritable hens tooth...
