Hubble Space Telescope

And Drew is too modest to say he was on the second Hubble repair mission and was in his spacesuit replacing components. He also has 28 days in space and was on the last flight of Endeavor and part of a funny trivia question he only shares with friends. Thank you Drew!

Do you mean Hubble vs ISS or Hubble vs BMW?

I like to think of my work in the garage as currency training. Extremely valuable for the work in Space!...but Space has a way better view.
 
Mirror error

I saw a program on the genesis of this beauty.. The error on the mirror was 0.002 mms
causing the blindness of the telescope .
Are we that accurate on E9 ????
 
As I understand it, it was made correctly in gravity but lack of gravity created the error. Difficult to compensate for without prior experience.

Thanks for your efforts Drew. I am sure the risks are worth the adventure but I am sure there are always concerns.
