Hubcaps anyone?

Hmm...when are hubcaps worth more than the wheels that they are installed on? great ebay deal. :shock: IMHO, the original Cromodoras look so much better without the large obtrusive center caps, ala the 2002 and Ferrari Dino rims that sport the much smaller hubcaps.

Will the fit-through-the-hole-from-behind BMW caps fit on the stock alloy wheels? I have been toying with the idea of setting mine up like they are on the 2002 - with these caps and chrome lug nuts. It doesnt seem like there is enough room between the hub and the wheel opening to fit them, are the other alpina style wheel openings wider to accomodate these caps?

The Alpinas are much wider than 2002 center caps.

I meant I like the look how the cs-style alloys on the 2002 are set up - with exposed lug nuts and center caps instead of our hub caps covering the lug nuts and hub - and wonder if the stock cs alloys could be set up the same way? Like this, but with our 5 lug wheels and the FPS alpina style wheel BMW cap:
