Hi all!

First and foremost I must say I love my '73 3.0cs. Mr Bellamy did a great job in taking care of this car, and I do my best to respect his work by trying to maintain the excellent condition he kept it in.

One little inquiry I have for anyone with feedback: the car does not start well in times of high humidity. Is that a symptom of the carbs in general, or can anyone suggest a fix.

Thanks

Greg

The car is begging you to get a climate controlled garage..
Listen to. It.

Humidity should not hinder starting as an influence on mixture and combustion.
But it could be that in humid situations you have a problem with your ignition circuit. Especially in the HT circuit. You might need new HT leads, a now rotor arm, cap.
If you haven´t already: switch to electronic ignition (pertronics or Lumenition). Points are junk. Were junk in 72 and are even worse now since quality points are no longer available.
Replace the spark plugs. (make sure you buy good ones, NGK are recommended).
