Whether it's Ruf, Autodelta, Alpine, Alpina, Abarth or whomever, you never get a straight answer to: was this car modified when new? More of the same with this one. Probably done by Alpina in the early 80s by the looks of things. It's cool and that injection set up is interesting.

Beautiful car. Not sure what happened to the rear valence, but the rest of the car looks very nice. Love that gauge cluster on the shelf inside; matches up so nicely. Interesting that you see so many high-dollar cars in Europe that have relatively grungy engine compartments. Kind of like Catherine Deneuve with unshaved legs; you wouldn't kick her out, but it does give you pause...
