Hybred-parking brake

Hi Folks, I am going to try to retro-fit the parking brake handle from the Euro 635, 1981 into my blue e9. I will use the de Q upgrade as well but I think the steel is a little thicker on the E24 piece. Has anyone attempted this transplant before? If not I will surely let you know if it is possible

What's the E24 handle like? Shorter or why the reason for the swap?

OK, I think this will work-It looks like the handle is thicker and has reinforcements in the critical area. There is also a single unit inside so no more jacking around with the button etc. That's if? it works. Here is a picture-

Interesting idea... I will follow this and see how it goes.

Yes, I think the E9 handle is a little wimpy after having an E24 M6 and an E28 M5.
