Yesterday I installed my LED headlights, a complete setup. This was a plug and play process. My old headlights were so bad I threw them away. One of the lenses of my old headlight fell off when I removed the headlight. Once I was blind now I can see. I turned the new ones on while it was still daylight and I could see some light on the ground. The light is cast down and to the right. So now I can see people walking in the street (we have no sidewalks) on the right.

I have been on a mission to improve the lighting in all my old cars. I bought a pair of Koito's for the 67 Mustang and it came with a harness and relays. Did you just replace the lights or did you buy a harness to allow power directly from the battery/alternator? Hella makes a universal harness that for some reason, cannot be found here in the US any longer, bought one from India off Ebay to use for my 635 which has new Hella H4 lights. This setup is about the cheapest way to make an effective improvement on headlights.

Hey Bob, I just replaced the lights that's it no relays or harness less then 30 min work. Take grille out, take two screws out for headlight ring put new lights behind rind plug in connector, put screws back, put grille back, turn on lights, done. LED's draw less current, put out less heat. I also took the time to clean my grilles and light rings.

I go to site, pick my 2800CS and it gives me 5 option that I cannot tell the difference
VC5000, VC4000, VC3500, VC6v. VCm3
Advice on which one? They also have economy lens and German Hella

Also did you just replace the low beam only?

When I purchased mine they only had two options and the projector option was out of stock. I got the vc3500. I just did the low beam that was expense enough
