I found two manual steering boxes

As per above, but they are missing the top covers.
Thoughts, opinions, ideas, available?

I will look for it, meanwhile, I have determined the one I have is from a 1972, 525, E12.

The other was made in 1969 (if that stamp means that) and has different mounting holes.
So (doubtful) it will fit in a E9?

Both use a triangular (3 hole) plate as cover for the shaft(s), whereas the above photo appears to have a 4 hole cover plate.
