There are a couple of paper hoses connecting the air filter housing to 1. the heat shield at the top of exhaust header and 2. the front of the engine bay.
I find it baffling that BMW would use such low quality PoS material when everything else seems so well engineered and of quality materials.
They don't stretch, rip easy and don't seem to stay in place very well.
Chances are pretty good that I'm missing something here, but is there an upgrade or alternate material or part that can be substituted??
Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.
