after I got it home, I did my own oil change to put in synthetic (and a WIX filter)....??
My wife came out to the shop when I was doing this and... asked.... Didn't you just spend $### to have that thing fixed?
I said yes, but I was wanting to run it with my own oil and not their house brand.

She walked away further convinced that I need counseling. LOL

I don’t see a problem? I am sure that your selection of a Wix filter is better than what the shop would use!
