I need a fuel injector

I am a new member in Nova Scotia and recently acquired a euro 1971 3.0 CSi. I just completed rebuilding the brakes and also the interior wood trim.

I sent the injectors away for a rebuild and all are done with exception of #2 which has a broken pintel. I need an injector to replace it. Does anyone have a good injector for me?

Those are tough items to find ...
I just found a set on a V-8 Mercedes and all but one shattered upon removal.
Try double 02 salvage.
Or try ebay.
Or fuel injection corporation.
Or a 72 Mercedes!

Thanks for the info. I looked at that injector on ebay. Looks the same but when I clicked on vehicle suitability for that sale it says not suitable for bmw 3.0 csi

Those are 036 injectors they do fit you just have to remove the blue plastic part on the tip of the injector , I bought a new set and they work great !

Thanks anyway. I got my injectors back from service and all are cleaned and tested OK except #2 which has a broken pintel.

I ordered a remanufactured one from Canada Auto Parts Online.

Can I just use one 036 to replace my broken injector?

The injectors in my '71 euro spec are 280 150 015 and all are cleaned and tested OK with exception of #2 injector (it has a broken pintel and can't be repaired).

Bosch Injector Database

Joe,

Here's a link to an injector database I find helpful - it opens to Bosch so just look up your numbers and you can check for a match. 015 looks identical to 036 - but there are two 036's.

Thanks Doug, according to that database 015 and 036 have identical specs, flow rates, etc.
