The 14inch BBS you have now look better on the E9 than the 15inchers. I´d stick with the 14ers. They are more period correct as well.

As for interior colour: If you want to keep it original, white outside demadns blue inside. That said, I´ve put a black interior in my white E3 as well. To hell with originality, I can´t stand blue interiors... :)

Personally, I would not do the white thread. If for no other reason, it will become dirty in some places, and not in others, and will be pretty impossible to clean. But its your car, have fun!

Check the archives for posts on polishing, etc. You have some chrome, but also alot of anodized aluminum and several ways to attack each.

The reason i dont like the red interior is that i think the car is getting very pompouse , the thing that you see at first sight is the interior , the second reason is that if i make it red there still will be a lot of black components inside ! About the white thread you are right , it is too much for me also even if i swalow the higienic reason !

I hate blue interiors since i discovered the cars at age 3 :) , i have to switch that colour , or i wont forgive my self every time i see it !
I will put 205/55/15 on the 15' wheels ant the tire will fit exacly like 195/70/14 , i am going on 15 cause i cant find 205/65/14 ,and the 195/70/14 are too thin for me ,dont look good !
