Idiot Dash Lights

Today we retrieved our '72 Bavaria after numerous updates. The most major was converting to a 5 speed.

In doing this the idiot light section of the dash panel was replaced with one for a non Auto car. After going through numerous boards all lights are functional except the turn signal.

Has anyone had experience in repairing these circuit boards? The shop who is well versed on vintage BMW vehicles has run out of ideas.

Thanks in advance for anyone's input.

These things are really very simple. The most common fault is bad ground. But if everything else is working and the gauges read stable, I´d be looking for a reason outside of the instrument binacle. The indicator light may not be working due to a faulty cable going to the binacle or due to problems with the indicator relay. Try the hazard lights and see if the indicator light works then. check for signal at the bulb when indicator on, work your way backwards into the car if neccessarry (connector, wire, relay etc.)
This is autmotive electrics 101. As simple as a model T. IF the shop has problems with it, electrics seem to not be their thing. Go to a qualified auto electrician.
Also, a new circuit board should still be available at very reasonable price from Walloth & Nesch

W&N shows part ending in 608 available but for 9/73 and on according to BMW, wonder what the differences might be.
