Idle issues during cold start

Hi all,
I have a B34 with D-jet system that will not idle when cold. Once the engine is completely warmed up it will idle normally. I shut the engine down and during restart the car will not idle without providing a bit of throttle for a few seconds. Is there a way to verify if the the idle control valve is working properly? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Preface: my senior citizen memory may have failed me...BUT... I think the ICV rattles when powered. If you disconnect it u should here the valve rattle freely when you shake it
3 wire valve should measure 40 ohms between outside terminals, and 20 ohms between the centre and both outside terminals
2 wire measures 10 ohms between them.

As usual don't quote me:grin:

Just clarifying- this is a D-Jet without a ICV? It should be an aux air valve?
Stock M535 cam?
Manifold pressure sensor?

Sorry for the delayed response trying to get ready to leave town.
The Vac pressure reads 37 mm Hg./15 in. Hg.
Have not had the chance to take ohm readings on the ICV, but I hear no rattling (not from the ICV anyway) there is the occasional rattling between my ears which I have been told is probably normal for me. I suspect a vacuum leak which I will investigate with a can of carb cleaner. I appreciate the info., keep it coming.

When you get a chance- D-Jet with aux air valve?
D-Jet with manifold pressure sensor?
