I just got home from Pick N Pull. There is a 1981 733i there with a Getrag 265 5-speed that has the separate bellhousing and the mechanical speedometer drive. The car has about 260K on it. The transmission shifts smoothly into all gears with the car sitting still, but obviously that's about all I can tell about it other than it is all there. It's at the Pick N Pull on Sunrise Blvd in Rancho Cordova (near Sacramento) if anyone wants to grab it. I don't need it because I already have one.
