Yesterday, I drove my 73 3.0CSi to play PB, turned off the ignition and removed the key (note aftermarket ignition replaced in ‘95). The engine was still running…hmmm. Stalled car, and removed negative terminal on battery cuz electronics would not deactivate.
Any recommendations on an ignition switch replacement? Saw Bosch offering one that my fit (Note: no telescopic steering column).
Pic attached of ignition switch. Other causes? Talked with Carl yesterday and he said the coil is getting 12V which probably indicates switch failure.
