Howdy all,
So I am on a 'quest' to find ANY images of this Grp 2 'factory rally car' driven by Rauno Aaltonen mentioned on this link.

"The BMW 2002 was the mainstay of the Munich firms rallying activities but they also tried the 2800 Coupe. This was a car that was very successful in circuit racing but its extra power and road holding could not compensate for its extra size and weight on stages. The factory built two rally cars. One was a sort of Group 1-plus specification driven by Gerd Raschig and Peter Linzen. The second car was prepared to Group 2 with big wheel arches and a 3-litre 295 bhp engine driven by Rauno Aaltonen."
---------------
Google image search is limited to a few images of the blue and white Grp 1 car. It looks great all muddy going sideways!
Your mission: should you choose to accept it, is help locate images of this elusive Grp 2 'rally car'. I wonder if it got 're-purposed' into a ETCC road racing car.
This message will self-destruct in ten seconds.......
Everyone back to work now....
