Imola red coupe ?

It's color time for my long term street/track coupe project, I originally was going for Polaris with some black csl stripes but I've been playing with my sons Forza 4 game paint and graphic feature and really like the red... How do you guys think ima red with a black off set stripe that lines up with the driver?

Loving Imola red

I've had two cars in Imola red: An E39 M5 and currently an E86 M Coupe. IMHO it's a classy color that looks great on both large and small cars. Not bright, like a candy apple red, but rich and deep. I'm guessing it will look great on an E9.

We all love red....including law enforcement. Weird....kind'da like the red cape and the bull.
Oddly, I have never gotten a ticket driving white cars. They never got out of the donut box even when I know I was 80 + Something to consider.
 
Without giving it thought I walked up to a BIG NYC police officer in Penn Station and asked him where the Krispy Creme Doughnut store was. He couldn't stop laughing. He got it before I did. Duhhhh!

I'm leaning toward imola red and if I go for the either group 2 or 4 Flares maybe black with those...... Hate to change out the Alpina wheels though...
 
I was at Coupeking's shop yesterday and he had four Verona coupes and one darker red coupe (non-metallic color that I didn't recognize). To be fair to the darker red coupe, the paint wasn't new like the others, but I have to give the edge to Verona. What a great color in person. In photographs Verona can appear (to me) to be too light, but it is perfect in the flesh. I don't think you would be disappointed.

Both cars look great! It's a tough decision....I need to spray the Engine compartment and interior.... It's my new years resolution to make this car go....How do I post a pic from my i phone?

One stage Verona paint so the color emerges anew every time you hand detail the car.
