Importing car from Canada to the States

I've never imported a car from Canada and had it shipped before. I'm sort of a no-hassle guy. Is it fairly simple and straight forward ? Or can it be daunting and frustrating ? What are the considerations to look out for ?

If you are thinking BC, contact customs at the border. You can actually just call them and discuss believe it or not. I would drive the car over the border and if you needed to ship it have it picked up from a friend or enthusiast's place. Removing the shipping simplifies things a lot.
