Improving brake linearity?

I too have a tii booster because of the Webers.

My pedal feel is not great although I do know the car will stop.
I think some of this is just the fact that a tii booster is smaller than a stock booster so therefore there is not as much assist.

I did extend the turnbuckle on the end of the rod so the pedal engages the master sooner. Helped some?

I have not looked at other pads and in fact don't even know what kind are on my car? Do they ever wear out?

I have some ideas I'm going to explore when I have time.
I will let everyone know if my ideas are successful?

At some point I may reach out to Dave Zeckhausen on this. He was really active in the e39 community when I bought my e39, and he was just starting Zeckhausen racing around that time. He got BMW to sell the parts for a European dashboard for the e39 in the U.S. (and installed mine) and used to sell CDVs for e39 6 speeds with the mechanism deleted.

Great guy and his main line of business is selling brake upgrades and parts to enthusiasts.
