Hi all - I am looking at 2212437 and would welcome any information people have on that chassis. I’ve read through what’s posted already.

I was also wondering if there is an e9 expert in the Northeast who could assist with a PPI.

hi @Jfast ... this carb CSL has been for sale for a couple of years. its a carb CSL in golf yellow. i believe it was restored in the early 90s ... no idea if it has had more recent work, but the car has been well kept since then.

4-27-72 build date
8-14-72 delivery in Verona, Italy
1982 - imported to USA (El Cerrito, CA)
1991 - sold to Coupeking <i believe coupeking restored it at that time>
1995 to 2024 (maybe currently) - owned in Newport Beach, CA
2024 - FS Legendary Motorcars
2026 - FS Broad Arrow for 235k

if you want a CSL, you might also contact @craterface, he has a lovely restored 2275371 CSL in fjord blue. Scott is a true car guy and the car was restored by VSR, arguably one of the best restorers of e9 coupes in the country.

Thanks. I can fill some recent info. It was purchased by current owner 2-3 years ago and resides in New York now.

Really wondering just how original it remains. If it really is 11k miles and very original that is a very unique find.

I’ll see if Coupe King has recollections of restoration work as that would kill the “highly original” nature of the latest listings aT Legendary and Broad Arrow.

i thought it had been sold by legendary motorcar in 2024 ... just didn't have any actual knowledge. i would HIGHLY doubt that it only as 11k miles, it is possible, just unlikely. i might think 11k miles since restoration. contacting Coupeking to ask if they restored it, and how much work did they do is a good start. @HB Chris might know a little bit about the car since he knows the previous owner and Coupeking.
