Inner front wheel arch cover plate?

Hi everyone,

We're about to fit the front wheel arch cover plate, per this photo. However there is an obvious gap above this cover where it appears another cover should be. Otherwise dirt & muck etc will end up in there.

Does anyone have a photo please of how it should look?

Thank you, it's taken a lot of work to get it to this stage.

This is some of what we had to work with when we opened it up. I don't think the angle iron is factory original

I believe the upper piece is supposed to be welded in but could be mistaken

Correct. The upper piece is welded in and has the tab for the for the bolt-on piece to slide under.
