One of the things I really appreciate about this Forum is the inspiration I get from reading what a member has worked on to get his Coupe up and running again, or improve some aspect that he/she has been wanting to get to for some time. In my case, I had been putting off replacing those flexible brake hoses on my right side front wheel. I really hate messing with brake fluid, almost as much as I hate coolant! But every day I read stories here and today I went for it. I was reluctant to start as I knew there were rounded nuts on the pipe ends, and last time I tried they were not moving. I did not want to damage the ends that are part of the long pipe that runs back to the servo, but I had new flare nut wrenches, fresh can of Kroil penetrant, and new-found enthusiasm! Did I finish? Well no, BUT the nuts that fit onto one end of the flexible brake hoses did come loose! The ends of the hoses that attach to the short hard lines from the calliper, well only one would loosen. Good news is, I have 2 new hard lines for the calliper end, on their way and I can remove these 2 and replace with new, and attach the new flexible hoses and finish the job way sooner than if I had damaged the nuts on the ends of those long run brake lines. Whew!

Me too, I'm about to climb the engine rebuild mountain (as well as a ton of other side projects) and will need a lot of this :D
Yeah, sorry you have to get into this, I mean you use your Coupe so much. But we all know you will do it up right (no pressure, ;)) and we will all benefit from the way you post and document your project. Best of luck Steve!
