I have the CMC bolted up to the car, trying to get the hose installed with the little plastic elbow piece.
Is there a trick to getting it plugged into the master? it's a wonky angle and my hands are big so I'm really struggling.

The trick is to put the plastic piece into the rubber grommet and put them both into the master cylinder
This is how I had to do it. Of course I was replacing the rubber grommets so it's the only thing I could do. LOL

oh wait, the grommet came in the new MC. should I pry it out? I didnt realize that was possible

okay, I did this. but it leaked and made a huge mess. the pipe into the grommet isnt a tight fit. AH POOP. I dont know what to do.

I would try again and if it leaks again you need tool at replacing parts (grommet elbow pipe0
Remember- there are two sizes of each.

In case anyone is following this, I have an update. I had been told that I should put the grommet on the hose, lubed with brake fluid and push it all on the clutch master.
After complaining, hurting my hands and trying to play twister with my engine bay- a friend told me to try dawn dish soap.
I put the grommet in the master, soaped the input tube and it popped right in. Lol. I was so mad.

I'm still a little confused. I thought you were able to get it all together the first time but it still leaked and the pipe into the grommet wasn't a tight fit? Did something change?
