I'm looking for comments or a site that shows the installation of front coil-overs on an e9. I'm looking at this for an e21 I'm rebuilding but I know some of you have done this with your race Coupes and would appreciate any input before taking the plunge with the puss-bucket (25 years of oil leaks and grime) racer.

Thanks

My brother and I are using their front set up w/ 500lbs+ springs. AWESOME! you'll want to do all the bushing stuff and get Big sway bars.

have fun, it was my recent winter project.

Go with 2inch coil overs, adjustable platforms, eccentric (like me) turret tops, and bilstien inserts
I have had great success with the above for my rallying Integrale, springs are cheap so you can play around with different rates and the Billie inserts will last an age.
Modifying the E9 struts is not that difficult
you need to have access to a welder and a lathe

If you need anymore details about making struts let me know
Cheers
