Installing Windshield: Teroson 2322?

Looking at the service manual, it says "Lip (B) should be evenly packed all round with Teroson 2322"... referring to one of the lips in the rubber seal. What should be used here? Thanks ahead.

Would that not make a horrific mess during install? In unlikely to get it in on the first try. I lubed everything up with vasoline to help the install. New gaskets fit properly should not need sealant.

Just a helpful hint- IF you must use sealant- use a urethane sealant....NOT regular RTV. Most RTV's contain acetic acid which is corrosive. It's what gives conventional RTV's that vinegar smell. Definitely bad for your baby.

And Vaseline is bad for the rubber- use soapy water, or if necessary, get some KY or other glycerine base lubricant. Silicone spray works too.
