Okay so I've been posting a lot lately so bear with Dan (I'm Dan)
I'm trying to prep my wood trim for restoration and I need to remove the black bezels.
I got the first one out using a torch to melt the solder that holds it to the backing plate.
I don't wanna continue using the torch because ya know of the fire + wood = sadness factor
I tried needle files but the lead dust will make me crazier than usual I think ...
What approaches have been successful in the past?
Here's what I've achieved so far
