so, I'm quite a bit away from the point where I might proceed that, but I'd like to convert the intake manifold from the "modern" 3,5 L engine in my car (coming from a E28 ) to the old style, which is original for an E9 CSI.
So I'd like to keep the reliable ignition an all the other Motronic Goodies (in my opinion) and combine it with that look of the older and original engine.
Generally there seems be an opportunity to do such a conversion (seen a couple of pictures at the coupeking page) and I wonder, if somebody in here has an idea about what modification/special parts would be needed. Could the injectors remain ? I think I already have read somewhere, that somebody did such a conversion and was using some adapters to fit in the injectors (not that sure about, if there wasn't a misunderstanding).
