Interchangeability of suspension components

I thought i had seen a post that covered this but could not locate it through search.

Please let me know if any of the following components can be replaced with parts from newer models.
(i am looking for a basic suspension set up, and NOT a superior handling package).

FR Shock Insert
FR Strut Mount Bearing
RE Shock Absorber
FR and RE Rubber Stop
FR and RE Coil Spring
FR Rubber Boot

what you do...

GO to realoem and get the part numbers for each.

USE the part number in the "Part Number Search" it will cross reference and tell you what models that exact part was used for.

While this will not be a definitive list, since a minor part change that doesn't affect applicability will result in another part number being assigned (which the part number search will not turn up), at least it will show you a start.
