* The carb version was sold with 36 Ah battery but the injection version was availble with 55 Ah battery.

* The carb version and the injection version were sold in parallel in late 1972.

* The carb version had the map reading light in the glove department.

* The carb version has another type of lid stay (engine compartment + boot) compared to the injection models with a slot.

* The early CSLs had no rechargeable pocket lamp.

* There were several inofficial options for the CSL; such as vinyl roof (RHD) with or without power sunroof (7 RHD + 3 LHD CSLs cars with factory sunroof are known), CSi leather seats (RHD) etc.

* The complete black CSL interior (seats, headliner, sunvisors, carpet etc) was chosen in order to avoid dazzle.

* The RHD CSL has an extra wood trim panel.

* Winter tyres 175 SR14 on 6" X 14" rims were available for the CSL!
