I tried searching but did not find what I need.

My coupe has a blue interior. Darker blue.
Was there more than one color of blue interior?
Exterior has been repainted but was originally probably Lapis.

Does anyone know the name?
Trying to find plugs for door panels that cover opening to motor mechanism.
Would Pacific Blue sound correct?

51411869871 Part number for black.

Thanks,
Gary

No coupes came in Lapis or Pacific per the Orange parts books, those were later colors. The Navy blue vinyl interiors were known as Marine blue I think.

Gary,

for the original exterior color, look for the 2 digit code on the karmann tag on the door hinge post. (a pillar)

It was Nachtblau. Now Avus blau.
Still doesn't answer the interior color name.
I think it was Marine blue like Chris said.

Found a part number for that but shows NA.
51411869873 CAP - MARINEBLAU

BMW parts guy is searching for that number as there may be some
at a dealer some where in the world?
I'll let you know what happens.

In the orange parts book, it references "navy blue" for both the seats and door cards. Don't believe multiple shades of blue interior were ever available.

Did some further digging in the parts book... in English, it's called navy blue, and in German, it's marine blue. So, they are one and the same.

Oops, HB Chris has already pointed this out.

Thanks Bert,

Currently searching for them.

$25 each is a little steep. I guess that is how you get to be a King. Lol

Guess your best bet is to buy new black caps (cheap) and just paint them to match. Yeah, it is a little steep to spend $100 to buy 4 ones.
