interior colors etc.

I am working on having my interior redone on my 1972 csi. On the World Interior and carpet site link there are two types of headrests. Mine appears to be what is termed the " 5 piece" headrest (vs. the 3 piece headerest), but I noticed that the sites indicates that the 5 piece headrests were not manufactured until 1973. How can I tell for certain before ordering. Also, the color interior is the dark blue (original velour like seat material with vinyl). The armrests appear a darker blue than the vinyl on the headrests. Was this original? What color would be recommended to match the vinyl on doors (the lighter blue aor darker blue)?

The '5 piece headrest' and the horizontal seat pleats did not appeared until the 74 model years for both US and the Euro coupes. These newer styled headrests could be pivoted where the older ones were fixed. I supposed somewhere along the line, someone interchanged the headrest on your coupe. Sorry, cannot answer your interior color questions.

Randy, you should go with the dark navy blue on your door panel, that was the only original blue door panel available.
