Good morning,

I have taked delivery of my little blue coupe, it currently had a shabby black interior. The black interior is what i thought i always wanted.

I also have a tan and a navy blue interior that i could possibly use that are in good condition.

Opinions welcome on what i should go for, does anyone know what colour is meant to go with the dark metallic blue paint job ?

Thanks for your help

I would definitely go with a lighter interior. It makes the car more welcoming and it is nicer to sit in there. If you have a dark blue car with a black interior it will look very dull as you approach it.

I have seen dark blue cars with very light tan interiors and it looks great.

One thing to consider is to match the "warmth" of the color of the interior to that of the exterior.

+1
IMHO you can combine light colour panels and light colour seats in a blue car
but you can also maintain blue panels and use clear colour in the seats only
that is my case

+1 on the lighter color interior.

My coupe is dark blue with tan interior, As delivered, love it.

I briefly had a polaris coupe with a dark blue interior.... Liked it, but the tan is much more inviting. So much so I bought the second coupe and sold the first.

My only 2 choices would be either tan or a slightly darker Lama. This, in conjuction with a new spreckled tan/gray carpet will really make the interior stand out strikingly against a dark color exterior.

Thanks for all the advise guys, it has made my decision to go with the tan interior a lot easier, you certainly made some good points, i think it will make the blue exterior really pop!

Looking forward to taking out the old black interior and hopefully not find any nasty surprises.

Will post some pictures as i go along.

Thanks again

My car has a dark blue exterior, with a dark interior but with red accents....

(sorry for the bad quality pics, had to use my phone)

The problem with light tan interiors is if you get it dirty, it stands out more obviously. I originally wanted my car with a light interior as well, but decided to try my current setup first and so far am quite pleased with it.
