Are the interior lights of the E3 and E9 the same?

my guess is that they are not quite the same
once you put in the the e3 you can not put it back in the e9
e9 price almost double the e3 price

for those interested, i bought one from W+N (new), it came in a BMW box with BMW part number, a year ago. i also ordered one for aearch. it was only $35 bucks - perfect chrome + plastic. well its gone up a bit, now its 42 euro (without VAT)

Part number is the same for both e3 and e9.
