Hey guys
Removing the interior light and it looks to be soldered in without a connector to remove? Can I pls confirm this is the case before I cut into the look and add a connector

I think these are springs you can push them to release the wires

About those dome lights. As my cars and I have gotten older I have noticed the dome lights tend to have problems. Sometimes the light stays on when the door is closed even though the three position switch is in the correct position.

My solution, I keep the switch in the middle/off position. Works every time.

Exactly, mine would turn on when turning to the right as the force on the door relaxed the pressure on the switch. I disconnected it at the switch. Those that like me say I have my own interior light, so that is enough :).
