interior welts

okay guys, how many welts are there supposed to be on one side of the car? can somebody post some pix of the different welts.

according to the drawing on realoem there is a welt at the front edge of the door panel ... mine doesn't have this one, can somebody tell me how thick it is?

my coupe, has a welt on the rear side of the kick panel that went all the way from the sill trim to the underside of the upper dash (under the chrome edge trim and behind the end of the wood) ... is that one supposed to be there?

i also had a thin welt along the front edge of the rear side panel (under the chrome edge trim)

would appreciate any help here in getting this correct.

Yours are there as they should be. The door welt was originally pop riveted I think to the door frame, very skinny. Some restorers just glue it the door panel now. Yes, the front kick panel welt goes up under the dash edge. Both are under the chrome trim piece.

good to know that i at least have 2 of them correct - no welt anywhere on the door or door panel.

where does the welt on the door end? top and bottom

It goes under the wood trim to the top.
