Looking at an E9 3.0 CSi that BMW has confirmed by the VIN that was delivered new to the UK as LHD and sold new in London but not before it was converted to RHD by BMW UK themselves back in 1974.

What do you reckon guys, does this devalue the car compared to a non converted RHD model? Would they have just used factory parts like it would have been built in Germany and swapped them over or do you think BMW could have done some chopping and cutting back in 1974 in the UK to turn it into RHD?

Do you see any performance or reliability issues in this case? How about value, should it impact what a buyer shells out for what is otherwise a very nice ride?

Cheers in advance all!

if no more info available i cannot tell, but anyway i think that if that was a bmw swap operation, in such anexpensive car those days, the result sholud had beenperfect
if you ask about the valorisation of the car and possible devaluation, i dont really know
