Is there a trick to opening the electric window gearbox?

Hi everyone,

I'm having a terrible time getting the electric window gearbox open. I've straightened out the swaged bits and heated it a bit with a hair dryer, and the cover won't budge. I don't want to apply a lot of heat because of the plastic gear inside. The worm is out. Thanks.

I got it apart finally.

I just stick a thin screwdriver blade in there and pop it out

The thin blade didn't work for me. I had to warm up the glue with the hair dryer, remove the larger bushing, take out the worm and push out the cover plate with a rod through the bolt hole by the worm. Don't use the other holes because the rod will break the nylon gear. Tomorrow I do the other one.
