Be careful when you order a Pertronix module for your E9. I ordered directly from Pertronix off their website, they show P/N 91868 as fitting a 1974 3.0CS. This is not correct. This fits only 1974-76 3.0S models as well as early E12. This is a kit for a much larger distributor housing.

The correct way you order from Pertronix is not intuitive. At the bottom of their website go to "Resources" then to "Distributor Look up''. Then enter 'Bosch' and part no. off the side of your distributor. My Bosch part no. was 0 231 162 002 This will populate with the correct kit. It is Pertronix part no. 98167A.

Here is a link:

With some coaching, they were cooperative and agreed to take back my original order. The new kit is on the way. If things go sideways during the install, I will update this link.

Here is the correct part for the Pertronix swap. My Bosch part no. was 0 231 162 002 and I can confirm this is the correct kit for this distributor.

It fit with ZERO issues. Rare for an aftermarket part. Total install time was 45 min. Fixed my stumbling issue. Highly recommended.
