jack, 5 speed transmission, strut mount nut

Just bought my first e9, a 1973 3.0 CSi. Getting shipped so I won't see it for a month, but I thought I'd start looking for some items. Anyone have a jack for sale? Anything special about a strut mount nut. I'm assuming that a nut will be easy to buy locally. I'd also like to start some inquiries about obtaining a 5 speed transmission. The gertrag 265 5 speed from Metric Mechanic sounds interesting, but it might be overkill. Thanks. Jeff :D Edmonton, Alberta Canada
 
Welcome to the club. You can buy several good used 265 Getrag's for the price of one MM - about $500 apiece should do. The jack is a nice conversation piece but I wouldn't even use it to change a tire - too scary and depending on the state of your rockers it might be damaging.

Yours makes 6 coupes in Alberta I'm aware of.
