It is everyone's fault. I have gotten so many positive comments and requests that I decided to perfect (well improve anyway) my shift knob craft to the point where I don't feel embarrassed charging for them.
The price is $100 each including shipping by 1st Class USPS (unless the material is extremely exotic and I need to ask for a small wood surcharge).
I have posted a photo gallery at the link below of all my BMW knobs. If you see a piece that is not labeled "GONE-XXX" then it should be available (1st come, 1st serve). In many cases I have more of the same type of wood to I can replicate pieces. I will also attempt to make shift knobs to your specification (shape and wood type/color) without any additional charge.
Please understand that most of these are made from rare woods and burl. Wood (especially burl) has imperfections, this adds to it's charm. Also, these knobs are all 100% hand made and no two will be alike. They have threaded copper inserts (see my post on topic) which should work nicely on your coupe - I have a test shifter that I verify the threads of each knob with. If you are not 100% satisfied I will not accept your money. I am doing this as a hobby and I would rather have a friend than a customer.

PPS, the money I make is going to a good cause. I am still using the lathe I purchased with the money from my first job as a dishwasher when I was 15. It is time for an upgrade and my wife doesn't understand the need for a tool budget, or a coupe budget, or pretty much anything else that interests me. :o
