I just received the set of gauges for my 315 roadster from BMW Classic. They weren't cheap, but they sure are beautiful!

Racecraft will be putting them in time for the Sonoma Historics.

Incredible. And for me the best part is what is said on the faces," in der stunde," rather than the efficient/concise/practical "KPH". Perhaps it reflects a different attitude toward life and cars

amazing !
are they selling those ? really ?
are they NOS ?
so beautiful....

They are remanufacturing them. They are also remanufacturing transmissions for the 328's. They have modern guts in cases cast to look exactly like the originals. Also not cheap, but they are far more sturdy than the original boxes.

There have been some grumblings from the purists about these "reproduction" parts, but if they look exactly like the originals, and are made by the original manufacturer how can they not be original?

You cannot reproduce parts for a pre-war car and make it original.
Too much water under that river.
