Who wouldn't love to own a Rolls Royce? I just can't imagine what a nightmare this thing would be to maintain. The parts cost alone would be astronomical. Thoughts?

I had a chance to buy a pair of the same model Rolls for short money. One had an interior fire and one was crashed and rolled. I made a list of the missing pieces and was really amazed at the parts prices. There was no way to make money on the deal so I dropped the idea.

That´s just the way I got into my Jaguar. Felt sorry for the thing, wet and unloved on a really cheap dealer site. Looked as if only a weeping waterpump needed fixing.. 3 years, 2000hours (or more, don´t ask), 15.000USD in parts (or more, don´t ask), I´ve bought tools I didn´t know existed and the car still doesn´t run right. And I´m left with nothing more than an 80s Jag that´s worth nothing...
