Just bought a rust-free Bavaria with 49k for four grand

Just put a deposit down on this 49k mile Bavaria in NH. Agreed-on price: Four grand. Saw the car last week. Not only isn't there a rust hole anywhere on the car, there's not even a blister. Totally psyched.

It looks very nice. Good find. The driver's side wiper arm has the spoiler on it. Did all Bavs come with that?

Both my 72 and 73 Bavarias had that.

74 and later were black and still available with baffle from BMW at $123 from Tomkinson, wow! It shows a later style held be a nut for $45, 61611365975, probably more secure but must take a different spindle?

Hey Chris, thanks for the tip but the E3 wiper arms are different part numbers than E9 and the E3 arm w the baffle shows NLA, unlike that of the E9.

I have yet to take one arm from each car and see what the difference is and determine if the E9 arms fit the E3.
