I recently purchased a 71 2800cs with a alpine 3.3 swap from a guy in Greaegle Ca. Im just posting some pics of what it looks like now. Seems to be rust free. And it came with a lot of extra parts including every replacement piece of rubber.

Do you mean an Alpina motor swap? Are there any Alpina markings anywhere on the engine?

sorry

Sorry yes i meant alpina, autocorrect isn't always helpful lol. As for how the car pulls, i can only compare to a 2.8 auto that i test drove. Compared to that its night and day. The motor i have has a bigger cam sounds amazing at idle. And the markings. I kind of looked around for markings on the motor, searched the internet to see how to but there was no definitive answers. I was just told that it is out of 79 alpina car. The car was in an accident and the guy i purchased it from bought that car and put the motor/drivetrain in this car.
