I have a Korman one piece manifold I just bought, was wondering if anyone has modified one to match the ports on a b35 big valve? Wondering if that is a good idea or if I should just buy a new production manifold that matches…any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

Al, the Korman manifold is a great manifold ... they don't make anything like it anymore ... the manufacturer lost the molds in a fire if i remember correctly. i think it would be difficult to find any manifold that matches the ports on a b35 head since nobody produced a b35 with carbs. just my guess from what i remember ... i could easily be wrong - old man memory

Scott is correct. Drew Gregg and I ran into Ray Korman at the Hilton Head Concourse and Ray told us he lost his supplier for these manifolds due to a fire at their facility. The drawings were lost too, and Ray did not want to go to the expense of having new drawings and molds made up given the low demand.

Dblis indicates that these are appropriate for an M30b35: https://www.dbilas.com/en/Intake-tr.../1021/Intake-manifold-for-BMW-2-5-3-5-12V-M30, but this same parts is sold for all the M30 motors.

Yes, think I will modify some three piece manifolds for the b35….the Korman manifold is probably worth keeping as made…

Al
