I have the plumbing parts (intake runners and log, throttle body, fuel rail/injectors) from Jeff Mohler's donor 81 528i. I'm bead blasting the castings but not the fuel rail and throttle body - at least not without some info.
Does anyone have a link or archive on the tear down and refurbishment of the throttle body? 90% of it is obvious but some guidance would remove the uncertainty.
I believe the injectors themselves are all good as Jeff said the car ran well. Can they be serviced or just replaced? I need to see a cross section of the injector hose connecting to the fuel rail if anyone has one to share.
Lastly do the Blue Books show the tear down procedure for an L Jet system?
